Petit Manseng is an overlooked grape varietal which has help put Virginia on the global wine map. Considered one of Virginia's best wine grapes, winemakers in the Commonwealth have learned to bottle single-varietal Petit Manseng, which can be dry, highly aromatic, full-bodied, and very flavorful with notes of cinnamon sticks, baked pear, grapefruit and honey.

Petit Manseng's reputation has steadily grown over the years attracting attention from restaurateurs, sommeliers, well-curated wine shops and adventurous drinkers.  Please join Neal Wavra, Chef Owner/Sommelier at Field & Main Restaurant and owner of consulting company, Fable Hospitality, on a fascinating and delicious exploration of Petit Manseng, and learn why Virginia's expression of the grape is considered one of the best in the world.
