Regions of Emphasis

While the Virginia Farm Bureau | Virginia Wine Expo is a curated wine event which places special emphasis on wines from Virginia, the event also emphasizes ‘Regions of Emphasis’, both international and national, which rotate each year.  These regions keep the Expo fresh, enhances attendees understanding of different viticultural regions around the world, and enables attendees to take a journey of discovery to learn about wines they may have never tried before.  For 2027, the international ‘Regions of Emphasis’ will be France and notable Island wines from notable wine regions such as Cyprus, Crete, Sardinia and more.  The national ‘Region of Emphasis’ will be New York.
